The name Lobo Associates comes from the founder’s family. Lobo has been used over the decades in other businesses. Having its first origin in Phoenix, Arizona, the definition of a lobo makes sense - lo·bo /ˈlōbō/ noun - North American (in the southwestern US and Mexico) a timber wolf. Emerging in the northwestern United States, simply means there is a need to join a new Pack where Lobo Associates desires to strengthen and enhance your HOA Community.

Lobo Associates
Experience in our industry is key. Deciding to be a lone wolf, a new company was created in 2025, whose sole purpose was to help HOA communities in Helena, Montana and the surrounding areas.
Melanie Carlin
Founder
The founder, Melanie Carlin, started in the mortgage industry in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997, assisted Realtors for a few years as a licensed agent, managed a commercial building, and eventually moved into the escrow business. She took some time away from the business in 2007 when the real estate industry started to turn. During this time, she got married, had a child, and moved to Helena, Montana, where she obtained her Realtor license in 2015 and quickly became co-owner of a local property management company.
She has poured her heart and soul into her clients in Montana. Despite being a new name in the area, under the direction of its founder, Lobo Associates has been roaming in the territory of Helena and the surrounding area since 2011. Lobo Associates has developed long-lasting relationships with established and trusted vendors and local professionals who will improve and enhance your HOA Board.
